Telehealth Guidelines - COVID 19
ALL NON-EMERGENCY IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MOVING TO TELEHEALTH SESSIONS
EFFECTIVE March 18th, 2020 - Jun 2, 2020
The Ontario Physiotherapy Association Policy on Tele-Rehabilitation in times of COVID-19 states:
“In uncertain times and need for social distancing, implementation of telerehabilitation services is spiking in Canada. Remote delivery of physiotherapy is an ideal model to support ongoing physiotherapist services during this period, especially for the most vulnerable.” (https://physiotherapy.ca/times-covid-19)

Telehealth Appointments will be booked online at skyehealth.janeapp.com or through firstname.lastname@example.org. Your therapist will contact you with easy instructions prior to your scheduled session. Options for your appointment include:
- Online - Video appointment utilizing secure online skyehealth.janeapp.com platform
- Phone - phone call utilizing landline or mobile phone
- Following your appointment your therapist will send recommendations to you that may include a personalized online exercise program.

* Telehealth Physiotherapy includes appointment, electronic personalized exercise programs and interventions. Fee also includes Administrative support to set-up, schedule, and bill appointments. Your Physiotherapist will determine whether Telehealth is appropriate for you - a free 15 minute consultation may be required prior to your first virtual visit.
**Therapist documentation, follow-up, and additional correspondence as required may be included in your scheduled time.
Payment will occur through our secure online portal and invoices will be delivered electronically or mailed.
